Description of Services

Windscreen-World provides the following services:

  • Windscreen chip and crack repair
  • Complete windscreen replacement
  • Side and rear window replacement
  • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration
  • Mobile service (on-site installation at your location)
  • Insurance glass claims assistance
  • Free quotes and consultations

Our services are available throughout Greater Auckland, including but not limited to the North Shore, Central Auckland, East Auckland, West Auckland, and South Auckland regions.

User Obligations

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your vehicle and contact details
  • Ensure access to the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time
  • Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before service
  • Inform us of any modifications or repairs to your vehicle
  • Provide valid insurance details if claiming through insurance
  • Be present or designate an authorised representative during service
  • Pay for services rendered in a timely manner
  • Treat our staff with respect and professionalism

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking

Appointments can be booked by calling 0800 321-800, through our website, or via email. All bookings are subject to availability. We will confirm your appointment via phone or email.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

No-Show

If you are not present at the scheduled appointment time and have not provided prior notice, the booking may be cancelled, and a re-booking fee may apply.

Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. We strive to provide accurate pricing; however, final pricing may vary based on:

  • Vehicle make, model, and year
  • Type of glass required (OEM vs aftermarket)
  • Complexity of installation
  • Additional services required (ADAS calibration, mouldings, etc.)
  • Location (mobile service areas may incur additional charges)

Payment is required upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been made. We accept:

  • Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Bank transfer
  • Insurance claim (direct billing to insurance company, where applicable)

For insurance claims, you are responsible for paying any excess or non-covered items directly to us.

Warranty Information

Windscreen-World stands behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. We offer the following warranty coverage:

  • Workmanship warranty: Lifetime warranty on all installation workmanship
  • Glass warranty: Manufacturer's warranty on glass materials (typically 1-3 years)
  • Repair warranty: 12-month warranty on windscreen repairs

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Vehicle accidents or impacts
  • Improper use or maintenance
  • Third-party modifications or repairs
  • Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
  • Negligence or misuse

To make a warranty claim, please contact us with your invoice number and description of the issue. We will inspect the work and respond within 5 business days.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Windscreen-World shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damage to property (except where caused by our negligence)
  • Personal injury (except where caused by our negligence)
  • Any damages arising from delays in service provision
  • Any losses resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under New Zealand law.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Windscreen-World website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, slogans, and code, is the intellectual property of MachGlass Limited and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute any content from our website without prior written consent
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorisation
  • Reproduce or mirror any part of our website
  • Use any automated systems to access or scrape our website

Requests for permission to use our content should be directed to our marketing department.
